On May 19, Gopher State One Call officially transitioned to our new ticket processing tool, ITICnxt. We took the technical innovations of our former ITIC platform and rebuilt it with the user in-mind, but ITICnxt is still free and it still allows excavators to create, manage and track their dig requests entirely online.
While the overall tool design remains the same, we made significant improvements to ITICnxt’s user experience interface. These modifications include easier-to-read fonts for quicker navigation, better contrasting color schemes to enhance legibility and modern icons to better guide the user through the ticket submission process.
ITICnxt’s new user interface features a reorganized tool structure that improves workflow. Additionally, we relocated the navigation to a familiar position that aids veteran and novice users alike.
Other changes to ITICnxt include:
- Advance tickets are now called SAVE tickets and go into a folder titled “Unreleased.”
- Excavator Ticket Management is now titled My Tickets.
- Excavators can process two ticket types within one session. Select a new job at the top of the map and choose the other ticket type.
GSOC is excited to offer ITICnxt to Minnesota excavators and believes that this tool will change the way people think about damage prevention. If you would like an ITICnxt training session, please register for one of our available ITIC’s New Interface webinars under the event calendar on this page.
Please Note: The older version of ITIC is still available, but it will be phased out in the future. GSOC recommends familiarizing yourself with ITICnxt to become acclimated to the new interface as soon as it’s convenient.
